Just a Heads Up (possibly off too)

A good buddy on the WF forums has a blog of his own (Benevolent Street) that is linked over in "My Blog List" - They've been nominated for the Bloody Disgusting Horror Blogger Award! In the past week or so I've gotten literally thousands of hits here, it'd be very cool if you could all do me and favor and vote for Benevolent Street!

Note: You will NEED to register to vote, but it's free and all of that jazz. So check them out, and give 'em a vote!

(Not us, that's just the only link they have to it)

Another Mattel! - Elite UNDERTAKER.

Before A.J. Styles was "Phenomenal" in TNA - The Undertaker was the PHENOM of the WWE.

I wanted to wait at least a day to review Mattel's Elite Series 1 Undertaker, but who was I kiddin'? Once I got the trench coat off of him, I absolutely couldn't wait. The detail on this figure's tattoos, much like Santino, Punk, Rey, and Edge is AWESOME. I can't say enough good things about the company producing these things.

Elite Series 1 - EDGE

The Ultimate Opportunist, Mr. Money in the Bank, The Rated R Superstar - By whatever name you call him, he's Edge. A NINE time WWE Heavyweight Champion (4 time WWE Champion, 5 time World Heavyweight Champion), and one of the best heels to have come along in recent years. He's currently out of action due to injury, but that won't stop us from taking a look at this figure!

Entrance Greats - Rey Mysterio

Based on his attire at WrestleMania 22, this is the "Entrance Greats" Rey Mysterio figure by Mattel.

Right now the Entrance Greats line only has Rey, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels in it, and as the name suggests this line features accessories that are based on the entrance attires worn by these performers.

GLAMARELLA!

That's right the reviews for the new WWE Mattel line just keep on coming! Last night I went out and picked up the Santino Marella and Beth Phoenix 2-Pack... to my disappointment, Beth's torso on one side was badly chipped, so I went BACK out today and picked up another.

MATTEL vs. JAKKS

After all of the talk on the WrestlingFigures.com forums, over which company was better, I had to do a comparison on detail. In my opinion, the figure to compare was a no brainer - CM Punk.

It's a Bird, It's a Plane, NO! It's EVAN BOURNE!

Fast with his hands and his feet, and LETHAL in the air, it's Evan Bourne from Mattel's WWE Basic Series 1! Formerly known as Matt Sydal, Evan Bourne is one of, if not THE most exciting wrestler in the WWE these days. His high flying is reminiscent of the late 90's WCW cruiserweight division, which had Rey Misterio Jr. (now simply Rey Mysterio), Psicosis, Juventud Guerrera, Eddie Guerrero, La Parka, Ultimo Dragon, Dean Malenko, and Chris Jericho - just to name a few.
